Communication Officer

Job Description

Byblos Bank Iraq is looking for an energetic Communication Officer to coordinate and support communication activities — act as the primary liaison between the bank and its appointed marketing agency, manage internal and external collaborations, oversee campaign planning, execution and implementation, monitor performance metrics, and safeguard the bank's brand image across all channels.


Location: Erbil
Branch/Department: Retail Banking

Main Responsibilities

What You’ll Do


  • Develop and oversee the bank's annual marketing and communication strategy and calendar of events and social media posts.
  • Provide suppliers with well designed, clear and concise briefs that allow fast on-brief delivery.
  • Monitor work and compile reports to show progress and capture learning.
  • Review/Handle all internal communication and announcement related to products and services.
  • Analyze social media and website analytics report and provide insights and recommendation to improve optimization process.
  • Ensure all documentation, logos, and materials align with brand guidelines.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Media Relation, Journalism & Translation.
  • Min 3 years of experience in the field, banking/wallet experience is a plus.
  • Communication & writing skills, Result orientation, teamwork, planning and organization.
  • Fluent in Arabic, Kurdish, and English.
