Byblos Bank and the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut Launch a Special Credit Card

Byblos Bank and the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut announced the launch of a new credit card designed especially for engineers and architects, as part of a cooperation agreement signed at the Order’s headquarters. 
 
Mr. Khaled Chehab, President of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut said: “Our partnership with Byblos Bank represents a positive synergy between two of the country’s main sectors. We are certain that through such a venture with Byblos Bank, we are showing a positive image of a proactive private sector despite the prevailing adverse economic conditions.” He added: “We are confident that this new banking product will offer the opportunity for engineers to benefit from real advantages.”
 
For her part, Mrs. Joumana Bassil Chelala, Deputy General Manager and Head of Group Consumer Banking and Distribution Channels at Byblos Bank Group, highlighted the importance of constructive partnerships with key institutions, such as the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut. “We strive to provide active members of our society with ideal banking solutions to facilitate their day-to-day activities and help them keep pace with the requirements of a modern lifestyle.” She added: “This card, which is a special banking product, comes within our strategic plans to cater to this specific category of customers to allow them the kind of convenience and ease they look for.”
 
Offered to all engineers and architects who have newly adhered to the order, the Visa Platinum Credit Card is a unique product that will allow them to pay their one-time USD 2,000 subscription fee through equal installments over a period of 10 months and at a 0% interest rate, or at a competitive interest rate if cardholders wished to pay for a longer period. Cardholders will also take advantage of countless privileges, including competitive interest rates and automatic enrolment in Byblos Bank Akram Program, Lebanon’s most generous card loyalty program, as well as access to Byblos Bank’s strategic merchant network. It also provides cardholders with innovative tools to manage their accounts, such as the Byblos Bank Mobile Banking application. 
 
This Byblos Bank Visa Platinum Credit Card is offered completely free of charge for new members of the Order with such advantages as worldwide acceptance, free round-the-clock access to Byblos Bank’s Customer Service, unlimited access to the VIP airport lounges worldwide, in addition to a set of free insurance policies.
