For Public Sector

• For monthly salaries below USD 800: up to five (5) times the monthly salary, capped at a maximum loan amount of USD 5,000.

For Private Sector:

• Salary domiciliation is a must (for at least 3 months) in case salary is not yet domiciled at Byblos Bank.

For Self-employed:

• Account movement at Byblos Bank is required.

• File fees 0.5% of loan amount minimum USD 50 maximum USD 100.
• Life insurance covering 105% of  the loan amount is deducted from loan amount. 

Personal Documents

•   Copy of Valid Photo ID or Passport
• Copy of syndicate membership card (if any)
• Proof of residence

For Employees:

• Salary certificate
• Engagement letter from employer
• Statement of account showing salary domiciliation at Byblos Bank, or copies of last 3 salary slips if salary is not domiciled

For Self-Employed

• Declaration of income for the past 2 years as per Byblos Bank specimen (*)
• Declaration of income taxes for the past 2 years
• Statement of income for the past 12 months
• Financial statements of the company for the past 2 years
• Copy of company’s circular, copy of commercial registration certificate, and copy of company’s bylaws (if any)
• Extract of commercial register
• Documents proving place of work (copy of lease or investment contract, etc.)
