In line with its plans to expand and reinforce its presence throughout Lebanon, Byblos Bank inaugurated today the new premises of its Batroun-Koura Regional Management and its new branch in Chekka. The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of prominent economic, social and political figures, as well as media representatives. 

In his speech for the occasion, Dr. François S. Bassil, Chairman of Byblos Bank Group, said: “Less than a month after the inauguration of the new premises of our Regional Management in the Bekaa and our second branch in Zahleh, we are here today to inaugurate the premises of our Batroun-Koura Regional Management and our new branch in Chekka. This initiative is not a coincidence, since Chekka is the industrial capital of the north of Lebanon, and a very active commercial, and touristic city, which deserves all the support for its development”. He added: “For this, we made sure our new premises here are modern and of high standards, with a seasoned staff benefitting from the support of our headquarters to cater to your financial needs, back up your investments and respond to all your demands as individuals or small/middle enterprises”.  

For his part, the President of Chekka’s Municipality, Mr. Farjallah Kfoury said: “We welcome you in our town, which is proud of the opening of Byblos Bank’s first branch here.” He added: “Chekka and its suburbs are witnessing an industrial, commercial and real estate growth reflected by the migration of many companies, which are attracted by its easy access, the nature of its land and the competitive property prices.”

Mr. Armand Bassil, Batroun-Koura Regional Manager at Byblos Bank, said: “The opening of our new branch in Chekka is a way to put our experience at the service of new clients and to facilitate their lives in the best way possible.” He also stated that: “Byblos Bank has an excellent track record in serving both the economy and its clients, while developing and supporting the different economic sectors and efficiently contributing to providing the needed funds for individuals, and small, medium and big enterprises alike; thus improving the economic cycle and living standards for citizens.” 

As with other branches, Byblos Bank’s Chekka branch welcomes its clients from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM till 3:30 PM for regular transactions at counters, and between 8:30 AM till 5:30 PM for banking products and loans. As for Saturdays, the branch opens from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM for regular transactions at counters, and from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM for banking products and loans. Smart ATMs are also available 24/7 at the branch for cash or check deposits and withdrawals – day or night, 365 days a year. 

It is to note that Byblos Bank has one of the largest branch networks in Lebanon with 86 branches covering almost every corner of the country.
