Byblos Bank inaugurates the new premises of its Bekaa Regional Management and its second branch in Zahleh

In line with its plans to reinforce its local presence, Byblos Bank inaugurated today the new premises hosting its Bekaa Regional Management and its second branch in Zahleh. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Zahleh Mr. Asaad Zgheib, the Chairman of Byblos Bank Group Dr. François S. Bassil, and prominent economic, social and political figures, as well as media representatives. 
 
The new premises of Byblos Bank’s second branch in Zahleh are strategically located in the city’s highway, close to the major business centers and residential complexes. They offer a modern space, allowing customers more convenience and suitability while providing them with a fully fledged array of the Bank’s newest products and services.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Asaad Zgheib thanked Byblos Bank for reinforcing its business in Zahleh. He said: “It is completely logical for a successful and thriving institution as Byblos Bank to have a strong presence in Zahleh, as it is logical for Zahleh, with its residents and institutions, to seek the services of a bank with enough capabilities to cater to its growing needs. In fact, as a municipality with the mandate of developing our city, we cannot properly fulfill our goals without Byblos Bank supporting us and meeting the financing needs of companies and individuals alike. I profusely congratulate Byblos Bank for the opening of their new premises.”
 
Speaking next, Dr. François S. Bassil praised Zahleh’s residents whose efforts contributed to the prosperity of their city despite adverse conditions. He said: “Our first branch in Zahleh dates back to 1999 and this opening of the new premises of our second branch in Zahleh and the ninth in the Bekaa, is nothing but an act of confidence in Lebanon and a commitment to keep pace with the needs of the Lebanese, as well as to stand by their side to improve the conditions of their lives and support their businesses.” He added: “We look forward to reinforcing the city's role as a thriving trading and touristic hub as well as a center for the most important industries and largest investment projects.”
 
Mr. Khalil Touma, Bekaa Regional Manager at Byblos Bank, stressed the bank’s role in supporting the most vital and productive sectors of the economy, which he said is carried out through a whole set of products and services that offer incentives for promising companies with good business plans, and give support for Lebanese families and the young generation to live and work in their homeland, instead of opting for migration. He added: “Looking at the journey of our Bank, we see numerous achievements that provided real support for the economy and offered funding opportunities for individuals and institutions alike.”
 
The number of Byblos Bank’s branches stands now at 86, covering almost every corner of the country and constituting one of the largest branch networks in Lebanon. 
 
As with other branches, Byblos Bank’s Zahleh branch welcomes its clients from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM till 3:30 PM for regular transactions at counters, and between 8:30 AM till 5:30 PM for banking products and loans. As for Saturdays, the branch welcomes its clients from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM for regular transactions at counters, and from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM for banking products and loans.
