Preliminary study prepared by the client detailing 3 scenarios

• The forecasted cash flows over the total period of the loan
•  Pro forma invoice of the items to be purchased with the loan
•  Schedule of withdrawals

Personal documents required from the borrower

• Copy of ID or passport, or extract of civil status
•  Signed list of properties owned by client and/or guarantor
•  Copy(ies) of title deed(s) of the property(ies)
•  Proof of residence for personal addresses of shareholders

Documents related to the project

• License to operate in Beirut. For other regions, municipality certificate is sufficient
•  Investment permit for industrial companies and/or tourism permit
•  Certified rental contract and/or document proving place of work (most recent) or real estate ownership if the location is owned by the client (title deed, etc.)
•  Feasibility study is mandatory for all types of Kafalat loans and must be prepared by an expert in the borrower’s field of business

Financial documents

• Declaration of income and financial statements for the past 2 years, dated and signed by the client
•  Bank statement of accounts for the past 6 months
•  Invoices, contracts, daily register, or any other document proving income
•  Detailed list of clients with their due balances, dated and signed by the borrower
•  Discharge receipt from municipality

Legal documents

• Statement of the company’s public or private register of commerce (preferably both)
•  Copy of company bylaws
•  Recent certified Commercial Circular

Kafalat Innovative additional documents

• Market study
•  Appraisals of properties covering at least 100% of the loan amount 
•  Audited financial and fiscal statements, including related notes

Available only in LBP

Client must commit to a minimum contribution of 10% in personal equity (in kind or cash)
Life insurance that could be contracted through ADIR Insurance, a member of the Byblos Bank Group, covering 110% of the loan amount if continuity is not secured
Fire insurance that could be contracted through ADIR Insurance, a member of the Byblos Bank Group, covering stock, machinery and premises (if deemed necessary) 

No other guarantees are required – or allowed – under the Kafalat Innovative program
