Click to Pay Faqs

Q1. How does Click to Pay work?

Click to Pay is an industry standard checkout experience based on EMV Secure Remote Commerce (SRC). To make a purchase, you will no longer have to enter 16-digit main account numbers, look up passwords, or fill out long forms. Simply click to pay with Visa when you see the Click to Pay icon where Visa is accepted.

You are only able to use Click to Pay where you hold an eligible Visa Card which has been enabled with the Click to Pay feature. Where the Bank provides access to Click to Pay, Click to Pay is provided as an issuer-offered service from the Bank for your Visa Card(s).

Visa operates parts of the underlying system to enable checkout and tokenized credential delivery. Eligible cards are automatically enrolled in Visa Click to Pay so you can benefit from faster and more secure online checkout.

Q2. How was my card enrolled to Click to Pay?

Click to Pay has been automatically enabled on your eligible Visa cards. You can view your enrolled cards in the Byblos Mobile App under Cards > Click to Pay.

If you prefer not to use this service, you may opt out at any time by contacting our Customer Support Team at 01-205050.

Q3. Where can I check whether my Byblos card is enrolled in Click to Pay, and how can I update my mobile number or email address?

You can check whether your Byblos card is enrolled in Click to Pay by opening the Byblos Mobile App and going to Cards > Click to Pay, where you can view the enrolled card(s) and the associated email address and mobile number.

To update your mobile number or email address, please contact our Customer Support Team at 01-205050.

Q4. How do I opt out of, or re-enroll in, Click to Pay?

You may opt out of Click to Pay at any time by contacting our Customer Support at 01-205050. You may choose either to remove a specific card from the list of enrolled cards or to opt out completely.

Your card will continue to function normally, and you will simply need to enter your card details manually when making online purchases.

If you decide to use Click to Pay again, you can re-enroll at any time by contacting our Customer Support Team at 01-205050.

Q5. Can I use Click to Pay if I have multiple Byblos Bank cards?

Yes. If you have more than one Byblos Bank card, you can use any of them with Click to Pay. During checkout, all your enrolled Byblos cards will be displayed, allowing you to select the card you wish to use for the transaction.
